Welcome to the Grounds of Eden Hill
The grounds of Eden Hill consists of 375 acres of land nestled in the beautiful Berkshire hills in western Massachusetts. The name of the property is called “Eden Hill” because of its natural beauty.
Eden Hill hosts the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, the Marian Helpers Center & Our Lady Oratory and Candle Shrine, the Divine Mercy Giftshop, and many other beautiful Shrines and Memorials, such as The Shrine of the Holy Innocents or the Lourdes Grotto, to explore on your prayerful wanderings.
No visit is complete without finding a quiet spot to rest or pray for a few minutes.
As you wander the ground of Eden Hill s you may see a wide range of wildlife, from squirrels and turkeys to the occasional fox or deer, giving you a chance to reflect on God's wonderous creations!
We do ask that you refrain from feeding them or leaving food about as its neither good for the animals or other visiting pilgrims.
Weather on Eden Hill
We are in the “Berkshire Mountains” at the top of a 200 foot hill. We recommend that our pilgrims check the forecast, but also come prepared for adverse conditions.
The weather can be perfectly cloudless in the morning, and be a serious thunderstorm (or blizzard in the winter) in the same day. It is not uncommon to have a 40 degree temperature drop or climb in a day, so be sure to bring a Sweater in the spring or Fall. Due to uneven gravel pathes, please wear approriate shoes.
Please bring ample clothes during the colder months, especially if you plan to wander the grounds: while the snow can be truly beautiful it can surprise pilgrims from a warmer climate and wearing appropriate gloves, hats, and boots to prevent frostbite is a must.
